I ensure all my brand teams, marketing teams and partners globally embrace digital and what is has to offer to focus on customers/searchers, to provide the information they seek is there for them whenever they need it. I change how the consumer connects with our brands; they come first!
I love big data – the bigger the better to ensure our internal and external partners understand our audience and their needs within their personal journey. This is the foundation of truly knowing your audience and knowing what they need.
I am one of a few marketers (globally) who has development, design, in-house + agency, has lead search regionally, globally (for some of the world's largest brands and digital agencies) focusing 100% within the Healthcare industry; which is one of the toughest industries to master within digital especially in search; given the restrictions such as health compliance, internal and external laws, different laws in different countries and numerous other challenges faced every day forcing me to think of new ways to move forward; while evolving strategically to lead search in almost every country in the world whilst picking up recognition and a few awards along the way.
A little more about what impresses me: Search sits right in the centre of the consumer journey; I will be looking for examples of user journey's that connect multiple channels, online and offline whilst optimising the journey to ensure the budget has been managed and optimised well. I look for the results beyond the click and how well teams work to support each other where and when possible.
